Vein Care for Sussex County, New Jersey

From Vernon to Byram, Sussex County residents have a board-certified vein specialist in the heart of the county, our Sparta office at 1 Wilson Dr, Suite 2A.

Specialist vein care without leaving the county

For years, many Sussex County residents assumed that treating varicose veins meant a long drive to Morristown, Hackensack, or over the border into New York. Avancé Vein Care exists to change that. Our office sits in Sparta, near the geographic center of the county just off Route 15, so wherever you live in Sussex County, we're likely the closest physician-led vein practice to your door.

One point of honesty up front: this is our only office. These pages describe the areas we serve, and Sussex County is the community we serve most.

Communities we serve across Sussex County

Patients come to us from nearly every corner of the county, including:

Directions are simple: nearly every route in the county leads to Route 15, and we are minutes from it. Free parking sits directly outside the office.

What "physician-led" means here

Dr. Satish Tadepalli, MD, MPH, DABVLM is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. He personally performs every consultation, duplex ultrasound, and procedure, from VenaSeal™ and Varithena® to ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. Every treatment is office-based, done under local anesthesia, and designed around one promise: walk in, walk out, with activity and recovery instructions tailored to your care.

Whether your concern is bulging varicose veins, leg heaviness and swelling from chronic venous insufficiency, or cosmetic spider veins, the evaluation starts the same way, with the physician, not a screening technician.

What does a first visit involve, and what does it cost?

A first visit includes a conversation about your symptoms, a physical exam, and a duplex ultrasound performed by Dr. Tadepalli. You can contact us directly; your plan may require a referral for coverage. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm.

Vein treatment is covered by most insurance plans when medically necessary. We verify your coverage before treatment and handle pre-authorization ourselves, with estimated costs reviewed before treatment. Please confirm network participation and benefits for your exact plan with our office; details are on our insurance page.

This page is for education and is not a substitute for a personal evaluation. Results vary and every procedure carries some risk, which will be discussed with you. For directions from your town, see our contact page or call the office.

Frequently Asked Questions

All of them. Patients come from Vernon, Hamburg, Franklin, Hardyston, Hopatcong, Stanhope, Byram, Andover, Newton, Fredon, Lafayette, and beyond. The office sits in Sparta near the geographic center of the county, minutes from Route 15, so most of the county is within a 25-minute drive.
With a venous duplex ultrasound, a painless, needle-free scan performed and interpreted personally by Dr. Tadepalli at the same appointment as your consultation. It maps your veins and measures the direction of blood flow, so you leave the first visit knowing exactly which valves are leaking, if any.
That depends on your plan, which is why we verify your benefits before your visit and explain any expected out-of-pocket cost up front. Consultations and medically necessary treatment are eligible for coverage under Medicare, Medicaid, and most major commercial plans when your symptoms and ultrasound findings meet the plan's criteria.
